Honoring Mother Earth: Our Deep Commitment to Sustainability at Wild Isles Swim

This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the true matriarch of all life—Mother Earth.

She offers us the open ocean to swim in, the sun that warms our skin, and the wild, untouched beauty that stirs our creativity and fuels our designs. From crashing waves to peaceful coastlines, the Earth reminds us that power and softness can exist in the same space—just like the women who wear our suits.

At Wild Isles Swim, nature isn’t just an influence—it’s a responsibility. Earth Day isn’t a campaign for us; it’s the core of how we choose to operate every single day. Sustainability isn't a checkbox—it’s a standard. A commitment. A promise.

Why We Create With Purpose

Wild Isles was born out of a desire to raise the bar—not just for fit, not just for fashion, but for how swimwear is made and why it exists.

From the start, we committed to crafting pieces that support your body, align with your values, and leave the lightest footprint possible on this planet.

That’s why we use premium swim fabric made from regenerated ocean waste, including:

  • Ghost fishing nets

  • Nylon scraps

  • Industrial plastics

  • Other marine debris once destined to remain in the sea

These materials are transformed into durable, luxurious fabric through a highly innovative and circular process—one that reclaims waste and gives it a second life.

Together with global partners, this process has regenerated more than 70,000 tons of ocean and landfill waste into high-performance textiles. We're proud to say every Wild Isles suit is part of this impact.

What Earth-First Fashion Means to Us

We're redefining what it means to create swimwear with intention. Here's how our sustainability commitment shows up in everything we do:

Regenerated Materials

Instead of contributing to plastic pollution, we help clean it up. Every suit we make helps remove harmful waste from our oceans while reducing the demand for virgin materials.

Small-Batch & USA-Made

All of our suits are cut, sewn, and finished in the U.S. in small, intentional runs. This allows us to reduce overproduction, ensure fair working conditions, and maintain premium quality across every piece.

Crafted for Longevity

Fast fashion is a fast track to more waste. Our suits are made to last—with flattering, functional designs, high-quality stitching, and timeless colorways. You’ll reach for your Wild Isles suit season after season.

Conscious Across the Board

From production to packaging, we consider the planet in every decision. We’re constantly evolving our practices to do better and leave less behind.

Why It All Matters

Because the fashion industry is one of the world’s top polluters. Because billions of pounds of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Because we believe women deserve better—and so does the Earth.

When you choose Wild Isles Swim, you’re choosing:
To remove waste from our oceans
To preserve marine ecosystems for future generations
To support ethical production and slow fashion practices
To invest in thoughtful, lasting pieces made with care
To align your purchases with your values

Every decision counts. Every suit makes a difference.

Our Earth Day Mantra

“Leave the shore better than you found it.”

We believe in swimming with purpose, creating with care, and leaving beauty—not harm—in our wake.
Whether it's a beach cleanup, a better supply chain, or the way we package your order, we're always asking: How can we leave this world a little better than we found it?

That’s the heart of Wild Isles. That’s what drives us forward.

Thank You for Choosing Consciously

To our Wild Isles community—thank you.
You’re not just supporting a women-owned brand. You’re supporting sustainability, ethical manufacturing, innovation, and intentional design.

You’re proving that style and substance can coexist.
That swimwear can be beautiful and impactful.
And that choosing better is always worth it.

This Earth Day, let’s keep showing up for the planet.
In what we wear. In how we live. And in the small steps we take every day that add up to lasting change.

With gratitude and love,
The Wild Isles Swim Team
